3 Story House 2002
Interactive invitation.
A house is a kinetic sculpture we get to live in. It has swinging doors, sliding windows, turning knobs, blowing curtains. A house is a solid, quiet shape. A walled environment, mostly closed, partly glassed.
A series of interactive performances in a 3 story house. Guests are invited to both observe and participate in the solo, partnered, and group instructions.
Slow Sculpture: Quiet movement works with objects. A combination of undivided attention and play. Slow not necessarily in momentum, but in reference to rest. Objects and their environments to be explored as color, form, weight, texture, space.
